Barn Jazz, Volume 1 is a record of original instrumental compositions in a variety of styles from bluegrass, folk, and blues to fiddle jazz. Performed entirely by Diamond Jim Hewitt, it blends horns, drums, and piano with acoustic violin, a Mark Wood 6-string electric Viper, mandolin, mandola, and acoustic guitar.
